Eyes, Tail, Object Exchange - Rigs

Handy rigging methods for various scenarios, starting with eyes, tails and passing one object to another.







For some reason, Maya kept crashing when trying to mirror the joints for the Object Exchange arms for no reason whatsoever. It seemed to be fine for the body rig if I remember correctly. Anyone else experience a similar problem?

It did once on the leg rig for me. It was when I clicked on the mirror button and it suddenly died. So now I save more :)

Mirroring the leg crashed about 4 times, which meant I had to duplicate it and re-do the IKs. It quite annoying, Alan didn't know why it was doing it either.

Mine kept crashing as well, I guess is safer to duplicate and re do the IKS, just like Sam said

Seems like its quite a common problem, an error within the software I guess. Hope this doesn't crop up again when working with something more significant.
