Car Modelling - Mustang 09

Its been a while, but I've finally finished the car model adding the last few details and wheels. I've learnt a lot with this series of tutorials and although lengthy, were definitely worth it.

Car Modelling - Mustang 08

Adding front details to the car.

Car Modelling - Mustang 07

Back to modelling the car - we're almost there! Here we refined the rear of the car while defining the bumpers.

Car Modelling - Mustang 06

Sixth workshop on the car, bringing the model together as a whole with the addition of the side and rear window frames, as well as adding a temporary frame of the under body.

Car Modelling - Mustang 05

More progress with the car, refining the rear geometry and defining the roof. The overall shape is really starting to come together now - next we proceed to begin binding the individual parts together with some interior shapes and details.

Car Modelling - Mustang 04

Fourth workshop on the mustang, defining the basic shape of the rear of the car, as well as refining the overall geometry.

Car Modelling - Mustang 03

Third workshop continuing the car model, refining the front and side door.

Car Modelling - Mustang 02

With the basic shape of the model done, we next moved on developing the front of the car refining the shape and details.

Car Modelling - Mustang 01

The next stage of our Maya workshops involve car modelling, as they stand as the mid-ground between structures and organic shapes. We've begun by establishing orthographic references of the car while forming the initial base of model.

More to come as we continue to develop the model in the next few weeks.
