Finished modelling a big top style tent for my scene with UVs laid out. I managed to use a bit of the Sculpt Geometry tool with the pressure sensitivity of a tablet to simulate the tent folds. Hope it looks convincing enough.
Thoughts & feedback welcome.

it is looking really good, with a texture and some bump mapping will look really good :)
really looking forward to the moment when you assemble your scene, Leo - it appears that your confidence with Maya etc. is increasing all the time...
I'm off to see Avatar (finally) today - I'll let you know what I think (though I have heard that, stripped of its amazing visuals, it's essentially Pochohontas-in-Space...)
Looks brilliant so far Leo, I'm looking forward to see your textures as I know they'll have a great style.
Thanks guys, yeah textures seem to be next on the list. Though I really need to get the objects into the scene to get a feel of the composition in maya.
Will be interesting to hear your opinion of the film Phil :)
